Your Guide to the Dragons' Den Canada Cast

Dragons' Den is a CBC reality series where entrepreneurs pitch venture capitalists for investment, and it debuted on October 3, 2006.

As of late 2024 it had aired nineteen seasons and 294 episodes, and the twenty-first season is scheduled to premiere on September 17, 2026, which is why this guide is worth keeping handy.

How the format works

Each episode runs roughly eight pitches. A founder states the amount they want and the equity they will give up, the dragons ask questions, and each one either makes an offer or declares themselves out.

A founder can only accept if the offers on the table add up to their original ask, and most televised deals are still subject to due diligence, so a handshake is a start, not a closing.

The dragons you will recognize

Recent seasons have featured Arlene Dickinson, a marketer who first joined in 2007, Manjit Minhas and Michele Romanow, who both joined in 2015, and Wes Hall, who joined in 2021.

Robert Herjavec has returned to the panel in recent years, and Brian Scudamore was announced as an investor for the nineteenth season in 2024. Lineups shift from one season to the next, so we do not claim a fixed roster ahead of a season we have not seen.

What we track here

We profile individual Canadian pitches on their own pages, reporting the ask as public record and confirming whether a product is still selling only when we find a live listing.

You can start from a season hub, for example the twentieth season, and work back through the years the show has aired.

Note: The September 17, 2026 premiere date is scheduled and the exact panel for that season is not something we assert ahead of air.
