Anne and Keith Proctor pitched fabric covers built specifically for caravans and motorhomes, a practical accessory rather than a flashy gadget.

The short answer is yes, on the evidence available, though the couple who pitched it are no longer the ones running it.

The Deal On The Night

The Proctors wanted £75,000 for a 26 percent stake, and the record shows both Hilary Devey and Duncan Bannatyne backed the pitch.

The pair had already been making and selling these covers for years before appearing on the show, so this was capital for an established, working business rather than a brand new idea looking for its first validation.

New Ownership, Same Product

By previous accounts, the range grew afterward to include towing and flatscreen TV covers, picked up trade body approval, and was shortlisted for a caravan industry award as recently as 2022.

The brand has since become part of Specialised Canvas Services Ltd, a bigger operator in the same space, more industry consolidation than distress for a product built on steady, repeat demand from owners protecting an expensive asset.

Note: Based on the public record; company situations can change, so treat this as a snapshot.
