Is Pro Waste Management Services Still in Business? (2026 Update)

Paul Tinton pitched Pro Waste Management Services in season 6, offering a colour coded, site based system for sorting and recycling construction waste such as packaging, plasterboard, metal, timber, inert material and hazardous waste.

Yes, still in business. Companies House shows the original company still active, and the founder went on to launch a related skip hire business that is also still running.

What they pitched in the Den

Pro Waste Management Services struck a deal of £200,000 for 40% of the business, backed jointly by Duncan Bannatyne and Deborah Meaden.

Tinton's pitch was built around a genuine project management gap on construction sites: rather than a single skip for mixed waste, his system used labelled, colour coded bins for each of the six main waste categories, helping building firms track and reduce what actually went to landfill.

Are they still trading?

Companies House lists Prowaste Management Services Limited, company number 05897697, as active, incorporated in August 2006, two years before the Dragons' Den appearance, and still on the register today.

Bannatyne and Meaden both exited the business by 2011, but the underlying company continued afterwards, and Tinton's team went on to launch proskips.co.uk, offering nationwide skip hire as a related but separate service, which points to an operation that kept expanding rather than shutting down once the Dragons stepped back.

Can you still use the service?

The Prowaste Management Services entity remains active on the UK company register, and the related skip hire business at proskips.co.uk is a live, current extension of the same team's work.

If you need construction waste recycling specifically rather than general skip hire, we would recommend contacting the company directly to confirm current service areas, since a business this specialised tends to focus on regional coverage rather than one nationwide offer.

Note: Status checked July 2026; company situations change, so treat this as a snapshot.
