Look for Proppa on AmazonFull story →Adam Weaver brought his online 4x4 and pickup accessories shop to the Den, built on the back of a single product, Steel Seal, that got him into vehicle parts retail in the first place.
Short version: the storefront is still live in 2026, but there is enough of a warning trail out there that we would not treat it as a business you can currently rely on for a smooth order.
What Got Pitched And What Closed
Weaver put £50,000 on the table for 20 percent of the company he had built selling hardtops and other accessories to pickup and 4x4 owners, and the record shows the pitch closed with Duncan Bannatyne taking the deal on air.
The idea traced back to a single expensive car repair. Weaver came across a cheap sealant product that spared him a much bigger garage bill, started reselling it, and built an accessories retailer around that first sale.
Why A Live Website Is Not The Whole Story
Being technically reachable online says nothing about whether orders actually ship, and that gap looks like exactly what is happening here. Reports describe calls going unanswered, emails bouncing, and orders placed without anything arriving, the kind of symptom set you would expect from a small retailer whose supply chain and support desk have quietly stopped functioning.
None of that proves the company folded on purpose. Supply issues and staffing gaps can create identical symptoms without any bad intent behind them, but from a shopper's chair the advice lands the same either way: we would not place an order here and expect it to turn up.
