The answer is yes. The product is still stocked by major retailers and the company behind it remains active on the UK company register.
What they pitched in the Den
Rapstrap struck a deal of £150,000 for 50% of the business, backed jointly by Duncan Bannatyne and James Caan, one of the more even equity splits agreed on the show.
The pitch's core appeal was sustainability paired with practicality: a cable tie that could be released and reused rather than cut off and thrown away, aimed at cutting the huge volume of single use plastic ties discarded in industrial and domestic settings alike.
