Is The Snaffling Pig Still in Business? (2026 Update)

Nick Coleman and Andrew Allen brought The Snaffling Pig to Dragons' Den in season 14, pitching a gourmet pork crackling snack company aimed at the premium end of a category most people associate with garage forecourts.

The short version: still very much in business. Their crackling was listed and purchasable through a third party retailer when we checked in July 2026, which is the kind of downstream retail presence that only happens if the supply chain behind it is still running.

What they pitched in the Den

The Snaffling Pig asked for £70,000 in exchange for 20% of the business, valuing it at around £350,000. Nick Jenkins backed the deal on those exact terms.

The pitch bet on pork crackling as a premium snack category rather than a petrol station afterthought, going after the same shelf space as posh crisps and artisan nuts rather than competing purely on price with supermarket own label crackling.

Are they still trading?

When we checked in July 2026, britishessentials.com had a live product page for Snaffling Pig Perfectly Salted pork crackling in 40g packets, complete with a working add to basket button and a quantity selector.

Being stocked by an independent British food retailer, rather than only sold direct from the brand's own site, suggests The Snaffling Pig has wholesale relationships that are still active, which is a healthier sign for a food brand than survival purely on direct to consumer sales.

Can you still buy it?

Yes. As of our check, britishessentials.com had Snaffling Pig Perfectly Salted crackling in stock and ready to order in 40g packets.

Given the brand's premium positioning, it is also worth checking specialist snack and gift retailers more broadly if that particular listing has moved on, since a product built around gourmet positioning tends to spread across several boutique stockists rather than sitting on one shelf alone.

Note: Status checked July 2026; company situations change, so treat this as a snapshot.
