Is Visual Talent Ltd Still in Business? (2026 Update)

Huw Gwyther pitched Visual Talent Ltd in season 1, back in 2004, proposing what became Wonderland, a high end fashion and culture magazine aimed at the same readers as Vogue or Dazed but built from scratch by a first time publisher.
The answer is an easy yes. Wonderland is not just still publishing, it is one of the most durable business successes to come out of the entire history of the show.
What they pitched in the Den
Visual Talent Ltd struck a deal of £175,000 for 40% of the business, backed by Peter Jones, one of the very first deals ever agreed on the programme when it launched in 2004.
Wonderland launched in September 2005, off the back of that investment, positioning itself as a bi monthly lifestyle, fashion and culture title based in Notting Hill, and Gwyther has since gone on to found the related magazine Man About Town and, more recently, a new title called Imagine.
Are they still trading?
Companies House lists Visual Talent Limited, company number 05087944, as active, incorporated in March 2004, in the very early days of the business Gwyther pitched.
When we checked in July 2026, wonderlandmagazine.com was actively publishing, with fresh articles dated to that same month covering fashion, music, beauty and culture, alongside a working newsletter signup and active social media accounts, all signs of a genuinely operating publication rather than an archived site.
Can you still read it?
Yes, at wonderlandmagazine.com, which was publishing new content dated July 2026 at the time of our check, alongside its bi monthly print edition.
Twenty one years after the original pitch, Wonderland stands out in this batch as one of the clearest long term survivors, having outlasted the Dragons' Den investment itself by nearly two decades under the same founder.
