Season 11 of Dragons' Den Canada aired starting in 2016, and the pitches we follow from that year run the gamut, from a rental-marketplace app to a youth-led sock charity to an early fintech that would go on to dwarf its own ask.
Our approach here is the same one we use everywhere: the ask amount and equity are public record and treated as fact, while what the Dragons decided is only stated when a source backs it. Season 11 is a study in range. The pitches we track span a rental app, a youth sock charity, a food-and-drink startup, and an early fintech, and the asks run from a token $25,000 up to a full $1,000,000. That spread makes it a useful season for seeing how differently founders price themselves.
It is also a season where honesty about outcomes matters most. Several of these deals were never put on the public record, and one of the most consequential, an accepted million-dollar offer, quietly fell apart because the company outgrew it.
