Season 16 of the Canadian Dragons' Den premiered in the fall of 2021. We follow six of its pitches, reading each by the numbers first.
A couple of these businesses have clearly moved on since airing, while others are trading as usual. We keep deal claims to what a citable source supports and treat the rest as not recorded.
Six season 16 pitches make up this hub, and the interesting thread is aftermath rather than deals. Virtual Run Canada rode the tail of the at-home fitness boom to a $3.5 million valuation, and its web address now belongs to an unrelated brand entirely. AOB, a men's grooming line, has announced its own wind-down.
Outcomes on air were seldom shown, so the deal column here is mostly open, and we keep it that way rather than guess. What this season offers instead is a clear look at which businesses moved on and which are still trading years later.
Taken together, it is a reminder that the pitch is only chapter one; several of these stories have their real endings written well after the credits.
