The pitch

What walked into the Den

Massago ran an app out of Thornhill, Ontario that sent registered massage therapists to a customer's home or office on demand.

Allan Skok and Melissa Bennett pitched in season 15, asking $500,000 for a 12.5 percent stake, which valued the company at $4 million.

After the show

What happened next

There was no deal. In a LinkedIn article about the experience, co-founder Allan Skok wrote plainly that Massago received no offer from any Dragon, even after a warm on-air comment from Michele Romanow that she was already a client.

The business appears to have wound down since. By July 2026 the massago.ca domain redirected to an expired-listing auction page and the company's iOS app returned a not-found error on every storefront we tried, two independent signals pointing to closure.

Our read

The Hub verdict

A $500,000 ask for 12.5 percent implies a $4 million valuation on an on-demand massage app, and this is one of the few pitches where the founder settled the outcome himself: Skok wrote that no Dragon made an offer. On status we required two independent signals before calling it closed, and got them, a redirected domain and a pulled app listing. That is the bar we hold, and it is why Massago is marked closed while thinner single-signal cases in this batch stay unverified.

No offer per founder; closed on two signals

Worth knowing: We mark Massago as closed on the strength of a dead domain and a pulled app listing, the kind of two-signal evidence we require before writing off a business.
