Ryan O'Rorke pitched a curated subscription box of craft snacks and drinks sourced from smaller producers.

The short answer is no, based on reporting of a later distressed sale and eventual closure.

Fast Money, Thin Margins

O'Rorke wanted £75,000 for a 20 percent stake, and the record shows Peter Jones and Piers Linney backed the pitch together.

In the years right after the show, the company reportedly raised substantial further money through crowdfunding on top of the Den investment, a scale of ambition beyond what a single cheque could fund, though a box built around discovery rather than one hero product tends to lose subscribers fast once the novelty fades.

A Down Sale, Then Closure

By previous accounts, the business was sold in 2017 for a sum far below what its earlier funding rounds had implied it was worth, and later coverage of the wider group it became tied to describes the operation as having failed by around 2023.

A subscription box comparison site might still list pricing information for it, but that kind of stale listing does not mean an order placed today would actually go anywhere. There is no live version of this service to sign up for.

Note: Based on the public record; company situations can change, so treat this as a snapshot.
