Chris Reed's pitch turned an ordinary bit of driving admin, the fiddle of finding somewhere to park and then paying for it, into a rewards app that let drivers earn perks through local shops and spend them on parking.

A steep ask, and who backed it

Reed's series 16, episode 15 pitch asked for £80,000 in exchange for 45% of the company, close to half the business changing hands for a relatively small cheque. Jenny Campbell took the full stake on those terms, drawing on a career built in consumer finance and retail banking that lines up neatly with a payments product.

Giving away a stake that large usually means either the founder needed the money badly or believed the upside justified it, and Campbell taking on nearly half the company suggests she rated its chances if enough town centre partnerships came through.

What happened after the cameras stopped

In the years that followed, coverage described the company signing up business improvement districts and councils one at a time to widen where the app could be used, backed by an additional round of funding to fuel that rollout.

An app tied to one specific habit like parking rises or falls on how many councils and car park operators come on board, since there is nothing to reward customers with until those deals exist. That puts the sales and partnerships side of the business on equal footing with the technology itself.

Where it stands

Its social media accounts are still posting, and nothing on the record points to a closure.

Taken together, the evidence tilts toward the company still being around.

Note: Based on the public record; company situations can change, so treat this as a snapshot.
