Check the current listing on AmazonFull story →Suzanne Haines, Astyn Demaine and Omar Mian pitched refillable, vegan and cruelty-free perfumes built around a return-and-reuse vial system.
They asked for £50,000 against a fifth of the company and left with Steven Bartlett and Peter Jones both backing the deal, despite Deborah Meaden pushing hard on how few customers were actually returning bottles at the time.
Scrutiny in the room, a full deal anyway
Landing two investors on the exact terms asked for, after that kind of pointed questioning about the central sustainability claim, suggests whoever backed the pitch was won over more by the brand and the product than by the reuse numbers on the day.
Running an actual refill loop, sanitising and reissuing returned containers, is a considerably more complicated logistics job than a standard fragrance business, so keeping that system going matters for the credibility of the original pitch.
Where it stands today
On 21 July 2026, potionparis.com was a live shop with a working checkout, listing fragrances including Noir de Marrakesh and Royal Amber at £200 for 50ml, and Addiction and Enchanted Oud at £165, all with a functioning cart.
The brand is still selling its refillable fragrances today, at those prices.
