Is Viper Clip Still in Business? (2026 Update)
David and Julie Gray pitched Viper Clip in season 17, offering a fully insulated cable staple built to stop the nicks and shorts that come from a badly aimed hammer on a normal cable clip.
The short answer is yes. As of our most recent check, ViperClip's own online shop was live, stocked, and taking orders.
What they pitched in the Den
Viper Clip asked for £80,000 in return for 25% of the business, implying a value of about £320,000. Deborah Meaden backed the pitch and took the stake on air.
The product itself is a small, unglamorous fix for a real trade problem: insulated staples for securing electrical cable that reduce the risk of piercing the cable during installation, aimed squarely at electricians and tradespeople rather than a general consumer.
Are they still trading?
Viper Clip's own site, viper-clip.com, had a working shop page when we checked in July 2026, listing the ViperClip Gun Pack along with clip boxes, fire rated clips, batteries and a charger, all with active add to cart buttons.
That is a first party storefront still processing orders, which is a stronger signal than a single third party listing. A trade tool like this tends to live or die on repeat business from electricians, so an active, maintained shop points to a business that is still functioning rather than coasting on old stock.
