The pitch
What walked into the Den
Dodjivi Coffee, Komlanvi Dodjro’s functional mushroom-coffee brand from Gatineau, Quebec, appeared in season 20, episode 15.
Went after $150,000 in return for 10 percent, which pointed to a value of about $1,500,000.

What happened next
With the result missing, our attention went to the live footprint instead.
The brand is trading strongly: our July 2026 look found a live store with instant mushroom-coffee blends from about $28 to $50, a working cart and a 4.6-star rating across more than a hundred reviews, and the company’s own site says the coffee is now carried in more than 150 stores, a reach we pass along as its claim.

The Hub verdict
The ask is measured for a category with real momentum: a mid-six-figure cheque against just a tenth of the business, a price of a million and a half on a functional mushroom-coffee brand. Keeping the give-away that small signals a founder who believes the product can carry the raise.
How the room voted was never published, so the ask is all we can analyze. The aftermath is strong, a live and well-reviewed shop plus a self-reported reach of 150-plus stores that we hand along as the brand's own number rather than one we tallied. Sales are confirmed; the deal is not.
A well-reviewed store and a self-reported retail footprint.
Worth knowing: The retail-footprint figure is the company’s own, and a busy online store confirms sales rather than the outcome of the Den appearance.
