Our read

The Hub verdict

Igloo is one of the rarer Den entries: a business-to-business logistics play rather than a shiny consumer product. Anthony Coates-Smith and Alistair Turner wanted 160,000 pounds in exchange for 22.5% of their chilled and frozen transport firm, which prices the whole operation at roughly 711,000 pounds on paper. That is a confident number for a service company, and the Dragons agreed to it without haggling: the money and the stake that walked out matched the money and the stake that walked in. Duncan Bannatyne and Richard Farleigh split the 22.5% between them, so neither took a controlling slice. What we cannot tell you from the episode alone is how the haulage side fared afterwards, and that aftermath is exactly what our verification work targets before we would ever claim it is still trading.

A clean, unhaggled B2B deal at a near seven-figure valuation.
