The pitch

What walked into the Den

Five members of the Maan family, Gaurav, Gurleen, Amir, Kris and Devinder, presented Maan Farms, an Abbotsford agritourism farm and winery, in season 18, episode 13.

Together they asked for $1,000,000 against 10 percent of the operation, which puts a $10 million figure on the whole enterprise.

What happened next

How the Dragons responded is not something the broadcast preserved for us to cite, and we will not manufacture a result to fill the silence.

The farm is in full swing today. As of July 2026 it was booking strawberry U-pick sessions, barnyard memberships, wine tastings and wedding dates into 2026 and 2027 through an event-booking system.

Our read

The Hub verdict

Five family members and a $10 million valuation make this feel less like a startup pitch and more like a case for an established operation, which agritourism farms with wineries usually are. A million dollars for 10 percent is the ask, and the breadth of the business, U-pick, events, wine, weddings, is what would justify that number.

The outcome never aired, so we make no call on it. The operation is unambiguously alive, booking events well into 2027, which is the part we can stand behind.

Worth knowing: The ask is solid public record; the on-air decision simply was not shown, so we treat it as genuinely open.
