Our read
The Hub verdict
The valuation is the eye-catcher and, in all likelihood, the sticking point. James Nash asked for £250,000 in return for 25% of Wine Innovations, which puts a £1,000,000 price on the single-serve wine-goblet business, the highest valuation in this whole group of pitches. Defending a seven-figure number in front of the Dragons demands sales and traction to match, and the panel chose not to invest. A quarter-million-pound ask at a million-pound valuation is a swing for scale, and when a pitch that bold ends without a deal it is almost always the price, not the product, that stalled it. We are holding strictly to the aired figures and making no claim about what came afterward.
The steepest valuation in this batch, and no deal.
Worth knowing: Deal terms reflect the aired episode and are public record. Availability can change, and we only add a buy link once we have confirmed a current listing.
