Dragons Den Deals Where Multiple Dragons Teamed Up

Most Dragons Den deals involve a single investor putting up the whole amount, but not always. When a pitch is strong enough, two or even three Dragons will sometimes agree to split the investment and the equity between them rather than let a rival take the whole deal alone.

We found 58 confirmed deals in our records backed by more than one Dragon. Below are some of the more notable ones, including several that brought in three investors at once.

BodyXcore, three investors including Joe Wicks

Joseph Keegan's fitness pitch BodyXcore in season 22 secured a deal backed by Peter Jones, Touker Suleyman and guest Dragon Joe Wicks.

A celebrity guest Dragon joining two regular panel members on a single deal makes this one of the more unusual three way splits in our records.

Whisky Me, three investors

Thomas Aske and Tristan Stephenson's whisky subscription pitch Whisky Me secured a deal in season 18 backed by Deborah Meaden, Tej Lalvani and Peter Jones together.

Three separate Dragons agreeing on the same pitch is a strong signal that a business appealed across very different investing styles at once.

Nimble, three investors

Von Sy's plant based baby toiletries brand Nimble secured a deal in season 17 backed by Tej Lalvani, Touker Suleyman and Sara Davies.

It is another example of a three Dragon deal, this time in a category, baby and family products, that does not always see this level of shared investor interest.

Boot Buddy, three investors

Rashpal, Gurminder and Amarinder Dhillon's Boot Buddy secured a deal in season 14 backed by Peter Jones, Deborah Meaden and Touker Suleyman.

Three Dragons and three entrepreneurs from the same family made this one of the more collaborative pitches on both sides of the table.

Guy Portelli Sculpture Studio, three investors

Guy Portelli's sculpture studio pitch in season 6 secured a deal backed by James Caan, Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis together.

A three way split on an art focused pitch stands out in a dataset where multi Dragon deals mostly go to product or tech businesses.

Pouch, three investors

Ben Corrigan and Jonny Plein's Pouch, an app for managing loans between friends and family, secured a deal in season 15 backed by Tej Lalvani, Touker Suleyman and Jenny Campbell.

Our records show the company has since closed, a reminder that even a deal with three investors behind it does not guarantee the business lasts.

Hungry House, two investors

Shane Lake and Tony Charles's takeaway ordering platform secured a deal in season 5 backed by James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne together.

It is one of the more ambitious two Dragon deals in our records, built around a marketplace platform rather than a single physical product.

Magic Pizza, two investors

Raymond Smith's frozen pizza brand secured a deal in season 6 backed by Theo Paphitis and Peter Jones together.

Two Dragons backing a single food product is a strong vote of confidence, and one of the more straightforward two way splits on this list.
