Jenny Campbell: From Bank Clerk to Cash Machine Owner

Jenny Campbell went into banking at sixteen and spent a long career inside the sector rather than starting out as a founder.
She ended up running Hanco ATM Systems, a cash machine business owned by her employer, and in 2010 led a management buyout to take it independent, rebranding it as YourCash.
YourCash
YourCash ran cash machines in convenience stores and other retail sites across Britain and into Europe, a business of thin margins, hardware logistics and site by site economics.
Campbell sold the company in 2016 in a deal widely reported at around £50 million, and moved into investing and into speaking about buyouts and turnarounds.

She joined Dragons' Den in 2018 for the show's sixteenth series, arriving at the same time as Tej Lalvani.
Her route in was unusual for the panel: not a brand founder and not an investor by training, but a manager who bought the business she was already running, which is a kind of deal almost no pitcher ever raises.
