Our read
The Hub verdict
This is one of the Den's no-deal pitches, and we are keeping the focus strictly on what happened in the room. Shaun Pulfrey put £50,000 on the table against a 25% slice of Tangle Teezer, valuing the detangling-hairbrush business at £200,000, and the Dragons declined to invest. On paper the ask was modest, a small raise against a sensible valuation, which is a reminder that a rejection in the Den reflects the panel's appetite on the night rather than any verdict on the product itself. We are deliberately not drawing on anything that happened after the cameras stopped, because that sits outside what we have verified. The ask, the equity and the no is the whole of the on-air record here.
A modest ask the panel still turned down.
Worth knowing: Deal terms reflect the aired episode and are public record. Availability can change, and we only add a buy link once we have confirmed a current listing.
