Our read

The Hub verdict

Thirteen percent is an unusually tight equity offer, and Hannah Saunders held that line: £60,000 for 13% of Toddle was the ask, and Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett accepted it as put. That values the vegan children's-skincare brand at roughly £461,538, and getting two Dragons to co-invest for such a small combined stake is a strong result. Meaden's operational rigour paired with Bartlett's marketing reach is a pointed combination for a modern consumer brand trying to build an audience. Saunders kept 87% of her company while adding two well-matched partners, which is about as founder-favourable as a Den deal gets. Where the range is stocked now is a thread we have not yet followed up.

Two Dragons in for just 13% of the company.

Worth knowing: The deal above is public record from the episode. We never treat an on-air handshake as proof a product is still for sale today.
