The pitch
What walked into the Den
ProducKIDvity blends two things working parents rarely get together: licensed childcare and a co-working space under one roof.
Founder Alex Carnio pitched the concept in season 19, asking $250,000 for a 5 percent stake, which implied a $5 million valuation.

What happened next
CBC does not publish the negotiation, and we found no report that settles it, so the deal result is one we leave open.
The business is clearly running. A July 2026 look at its site showed three active locations in the Kelowna area with open waitlists, a careers page and a current copyright, plus a Saskatoon location listed as coming in 2026.

The Hub verdict
Offering just 5 percent for $250,000 is the most aggressive valuation-per-dollar in this batch, implying $5 million for a childcare and co-working concept. The outcome is unrecorded, but the operating footprint is real: three active Kelowna-area locations with open waitlists and a fourth announced. That is a healthy going concern, which we keep firmly separate from the unknown question of whether a Dragon actually bought in at that price. A slim equity ask like this signals a founder who expects to scale, which makes the live multi-location footprint the more telling fact.
Very low equity ask; multiple live locations, deal unrecorded
Worth knowing: The ask is straight from the pitch. Multiple live locations show a healthy operation, but that is separate from whatever the Dragons decided on air.
