Our read
The Hub verdict
Two Dragons on a children's shampoo brand is the detail worth sitting with. Geoff and Collette Bell asked for £75,000 against 20% of Shampooheads, a £375,000 valuation, and Theo Paphitis and Hilary Devey took the deal together at those terms. When retail-heavy investors pair up on a kids' product, it usually reflects a view that the hard part is shelf space and buyer relationships rather than the formula itself. The Bells kept four-fifths of their company, a comfortable position to bargain from, and because the accepted terms matched the ask they did not have to trade away extra equity to close. Whether Shampooheads bottles are on sale today is a thread we have not pulled.
Two retail Dragons, one price, four-fifths kept.
Worth knowing: Deal terms reflect the aired episode and are public record. Availability can change, and we only add a buy link once we have confirmed a current listing.
